Activism

Activism refers to the efforts and actions taken to promote, impede, or direct social, political, economic, or environmental change. It often involves organized efforts to address issues such as human rights, environmental protection, social justice, and political reform. Activists may use various strategies to raise awareness, influence public opinion, and pressure governments or organizations to take action, including protests, advocacy, lobbying, grassroots organizing, and community engagement. Activism can take many forms, from peaceful protests and online campaigns to more direct actions, and is typically motivated by a strong sense of social responsibility or moral obligation to effect change.
